From Dec 19
to 22, we had a good time in Mammoth Mountain, thanks to Yvonne for
arranging the Winter 1998 TSA Ski Trip.

Flower
Arrangement at the Fish Hatchery in Lone Pine, what a masterpiece of
mine!

Mammoth Mountain, skiing with Charles, Lunchang, Clara, Chichao,
Vincent, Calvin, Candy, and Judy. Also my second visit to Mammoth.

This edge
in Kirkwood was where I'd practiced jumping for many times. The right
shows one of the interesting results, in that, my ski popped out and
slipped all the way down the slope around 300 ft. As you can guess, my
level is about to play all-terrain.

After
Snowbird, we hit the slope of Park City, just another awesome place.

Northstar's
Rapid is definitely a killer.

Powdering
the bumpy Alpine Meadows in "the Face," I'm ace.

Ride the
Bogie's Slide at your own risk. You know what? Kirkwood is always
reported the most base snow depth in North America, to a 300 inch
level. Besides, big cliff is another big plus.

Be sure to
air off against the Headwall. In Squaw Valley USA, it's full of people
high-speed cruising, full of narrow trails, and full of groom machines
destroying snow powder. Much cross traffic makes setting up area-wide
stop signs a necessary:) I always love its back side, the Granite Chief.

Mott
Canyon, a must-ski. Heavenly offers unlimited fun in upper mountains
and gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe, basicly is a typical Lake Tahoe, which
features long and narrow runs. A nice thing of it is, it's on the
Stateline, eh... night life.

I've been
to Mammoth Mountain for six times in two seasons. It's for sure
my most favorite ski area. It provides woolly powder, challenging and
fun trails, good chairlift arrangement which can virtually take you to
any start point, high altitude that causes mountain sickness, and lots
of memories with TSA friends.
